Loukia Lazarou

President

She is from Pigi and Yialousa and has been a member of the group since 2000. She plays the violin and the lute in the Music Department of Vasilitza from the age of 11. She studied as a Maestro at Charles University in Prague and holds a Doctorate in Music from the University of Durham. In 2022, she was elected President of the Vasilitza Cultural Center.

Margarita Nikolaou

Vice-president

She is from Famagusta and resides in Larnaca. She has been a member of the group since 2000 and works as an insurance agent.

Gianoula Koulermou

Treasurer

She is from Oroklini. She is a member and dancer in the group since the age of 15. She is married to the dance instructor Zacharias Kertepene with whom they have two children who are also dancers in the group. She has been elected as a board member, serving as the treasurer.

Antigoni Andrianou

Secretary

She is from the occupied Petra Soleas. After 1974, she has lived in Kakopetria, Larnaca, Nicosia, and London. Since 1991, she resides in Meneou. She has two children, Andreas and Eleni. Antigone works as a Marketing Manager at Zenith FM Radio Station. She has been a member of the Vasilitzia Cultural Center’s Board of Directors for several years. Additionally, she is also a dancer at the Vasilitzia Cultural Center.

Elena Georgiou

Member

She is from the occupied city of Famagusta and has been a member of the group since 2000. She studied dance at the Vasil Levski Gymnastics Academy in Bulgaria. She has been serving as a dance instructor at the Vasilitzia Dance School since 2009.

Dimitris Valiantis

Member

He is from Larnaca. He has been a member of Vasilitzia and dancing since the age of 6. Until the age of 18, he danced with the adult section of the club. He studied at the Dental School of Palacky University Olomouc in the Czech Republic, where he graduated in 2019. Currently, he works in Larnaca.

Konstantinos Karvelos

Member

He is from Larnaca and began piano lessons at the age of 6. He participated in piano seminars and competitions in Cyprus and abroad, collaborating as a soloist with the Cyprus Youth Symphony Orchestra. In April 2013, he started his studies as a piano solist (Bachelor of Music Instrumental – Klavier) under the guidance of Professor Balazs Szokolay. Since 2018, he has been residing and working in Cyprus.
